Products Application
Q355GNH hot rolled plates are primarily used for applications in vehicles, containers, buildings, bridges, and other structural parts. These plates offer superior atmospheric corrosion resistance compared to weldable weathering steel Q355NH.
With a yield strength of no less than 355 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 470 MPa to 630 MPa, Q355GNH hot rolled plates are designed to perform well under extreme weather conditions, offering long-term durability and reduced maintenance costs.
The alloying elements like copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), and chromium (Cr) provide enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in environments exposed to salt spray, acidic or alkaline atmospheres, and high humidity conditions.
This makes Q355GNH plates highly suitable for marine applications, chemical plants, and bridge construction, where long-term exposure to the elements is common.
In comparison to Q355NH, Q355GNH demonstrates a higher level of protection against corrosion, especially in severe weather and harsh operational environments, significantly extending the lifespan of structures built with this steel.
