Q415NH Corrosion Resistant Steel Plate are nickel (typically 0.20%–0.65%) and copper (approximately 0.25%–0.55%). Even in small quantities, these elements significantly alter the fundamental properties of the base carbon steel, enhancing its mechanical performance. Q415NH steel plate achieves a yield strength exceeding 415 MPa, with tensile strength ranging from 550 to 700 MPa and elongation maintained around 19%. Its superior atmospheric corrosion resistance enables widespread application in marine vessels, container manufacturing, and rail transportation sectors.

Compared to stainless steels containing 10–20% alloying elements like chromium and nickel, Q415NH has an extremely low total alloy content of only about 2–3%. For instance, elements like phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, and titanium in weathering steel collectively account for only a few percentage points.

By forming a stable, dense rust protective layer in atmospheric environments, Q415NH steel significantly reduces long-term maintenance costs. It is commonly used to manufacture low-alloy structural steel components for vehicles, bridges, towers, containers, and similar applications.
