09CuPTiRE-A Hot Rolled Weather Resistant Steel Plate is a domestically produced high-quality weathering steel plate.
By incorporating microalloying elements such as copper, phosphorus, and titanium into ordinary carbon steel, it forms a dense, stable protective rust layer when exposed to the atmosphere, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance.
Compared to ordinary steel, its service life can be extended by 4–8 times while maintaining a high cost-performance ratio.
In terms of performance, 09CuPTiRE-A high strength corten steel plate exhibits stable mechanical properties: yield strength no less than 345 MPa (for thickness ≤16 mm), tensile strength ranging from 470–630 MPa, elongation typically exceeding 20%, and impact resistance exceeding 27 J in -20°C impact tests.
These data demonstrate that the steel plate combines high strength with excellent toughness under low-temperature and harsh climatic conditions.
