S355jowp Structural Weathering Steel Plate is a high-weathering structural steel, also known as atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel. Its alloy composition includes approximately 0.30–0.50% copper, 0.35–0.60% chromium, 0.25–0.60% nickel, and trace amounts of 0.03–0.12% phosphorus.

This composition enables the steel to form a dense, self-protective oxide layer under various climatic conditions. In urban environments, its annual corrosion rate is approximately 0.018–0.025 mm/year, and in coastal and humid environments, it is about 0.028–0.035 mm/year, extending its service life by 2–3 times compared to ordinary carbon steel.

Regarding mechanical properties, S355J0WP corten steel plates exhibit a yield strength ≥360 MPa, tensile strength of 480–640 MPa, elongation of 21–23%, and impact toughness ≥28 J at -10°C in the hot-rolled state.

These characteristics ensure safe load-bearing capacity for bridges, towers, and large-scale sculptural structures. Additionally, its rust layer stabilizes gradually within 10–14 months, reducing maintenance costs while developing a naturally attractive appearance ranging from dark brown to reddish-brown.

S355J0WP Hot Rolled Structural Weathering Steel Plate(equivalent to Corten Grade A) is widely used in bridge structures, chimney exhaust systems, railway vehicles, containers, and outdoor sculptural architecture.
