Hot-rolled weathering steel plate, as the name implies, is a kind of steel plate made by hot rolling process. It is heated at high temperature during the production process, then rolled into shape, and finally cooled and formed. Compared with cold-rolled steel plate, the production process of hot-rolled steel plate is simpler, the cost is relatively low, and its surface has a certain degree of roughness and texture.

Weathering steel, also known as "weather steel" or "corrosion-resistant steel", has good atmospheric corrosion resistance. The special feature of this steel is that it contains a certain proportion of alloy elements such as copper, phosphorus, and nickel, which allows it to form a stable iron oxide layer in the outdoor environment. This oxide layer has a protective effect and can effectively prevent further corrosion.

Combining the two, hot-rolled weathering steel plate is to add special alloy elements on the basis of hot rolling process to give it good weather resistance. This steel plate has the advantages of strong weather resistance, good mechanical properties, and relatively low cost. It is widely used in bridges, building curtain walls, landscape engineering, storage facilities and other fields.
