09CrCuSb (ND steel) seamless steel tubes are widely used in the manufacture of economizers, air preheaters, heat exchangers, and evaporators for high-sulfur flue gas equipment, designed to resist sulfur flue gas dew point corrosion.
The steel contains alloying elements such as copper (Cu 0.25–0.45%), chromium (Cr 0.30–0.65%), and antimony (Sb 0.05–0.15%), which form a stable protective layer when exposed to high-sulfur flue gas environments and also provide resistance to chloride ion corrosion.
09CrCuSb seamless tubes have a minimum yield strength of 245 MPa, a minimum tensile strength of 410 MPa, and an elongation of ≥25%, ensuring reliability and long service life of equipment under high temperature, high humidity, and acidic conditions.
09CrCuSb tubes from China are mainly used in power plants and refineries to manufacture coal economizers, air preheaters, heat exchangers, and evaporators, which operate in high-sulfur flue gas environments to resist condensation corrosion.
The tubes are commonly available with outer diameters of Φ20–426 mm, wall thicknesses of 2–50 mm, and lengths up to 12 m.
