Corten steel edging is far more flexible than most customers expect, making it perfect for creating curves, circles, and flowing garden designs.

Flexibility and Radius Capabilities
Commercial 6mm Corten Steel Edging: Ideal for driveways and traffic areas, it can form a complete circle with a radius as small as 2 metres.
3mm Corten Steel Edging: Perfect for borders and paths, this thinner gauge can form a circle with a radius down to 1 metre.
While these examples are circular, the curves can easily be translated into random shapes, arcs, or freeform designs. The 6mm edging, in particular, can handle almost all landscaping curves required in real-world projects.
For tighter curves, the 3mm edging can also be permanently bent by hand, for example, to create a rounded 90-degree corner.
How to Form Curves
Connect Sections First: Join the sections together while flat on the ground. This makes joining much easier than trying to connect them under the tension of a curve. Our secure joining system allows multiple sections to act as one continuous piece.
Anchor and Shape: Secure one end with the provided stakes, then walk the edging along the desired curve, staking as you go. Keep the stakes slightly above ground until the shape is finalized.
Finalize: Once the curve is perfect, drive the stakes fully into the ground for a permanent hold.
Advantages of Corten Steel
Smooth, Flowing Curves: Unlike wooden edging, there's no splitting or unsightly joins.
Minimal Cutting Required: No need for numerous short pieces like with concrete edging.
Durable and Long-Lasting: Corten steel forms sharp, clean edges that last a lifetime.
Aesthetic Appeal: The naturally rusted finish blends seamlessly with garden landscapes.
Whether you're designing straight lines, curves, or a combination, Corten steel edging provides strength, flexibility, and a premium finish that enhances any garden layout.
