Products Description
Corten B Welded Corrosion resistance steel tubes is popular among architects because of its ability to adapt to changing climatic conditions and natural landscapes with its ever-changing rustic pattern. When combined with urban infrastructure, it offers striking finishes that give buildings a contemporary, stylized appearance.
Corten B steel has a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa, tensile strength ranging from 485 to 630 MPa, and elongation of approximately 20%, making it both strong and durable for long-term outdoor applications.

The copper, chromium, and nickel alloying elements in its composition (Cu: 0.25–0.55%, Cr: 0.40–0.65%, Ni: ≤ 0.40%) enable it to form a protective oxide layer that prevents further corrosion and eliminates the need for painting.
We provide our valued customers with Corten B Steel Tubes at a very competitive price, available in outer diameters from 21.3 mm to 610 mm and wall thicknesses from 2 mm to 40 mm. Over time, other steel-producing mills began developing their own atmospheric corrosion-resistant steels, inspired by the growing popularity and proven performance of Corten B steel tubing in architectural and industrial applications.

Products Application
Corten B pipes and tubes have several uses across industrial and architectural sectors due to their high strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Some of these are:
• They are utilized in highly corrosive environments, offering a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa and tensile strength between 485 and 630 MPa, which allows them to perform reliably even after years of exposure to moisture, salt, and industrial pollutants.
• Corten B pipes and tubes are extensively employed in various processing industries such as sugar mills, fertilizer factories, chemical plants, and power plants, where operating temperatures can reach up to 600°C and corrosion resistance is critical to maintain system integrity.
• Most commonly, air preheaters, steam-generating boilers, heat exchangers, and economizers use Corten B pipes and tubes because of their oxide protective layer, which reduces maintenance and prolongs service life by up to three times longer than conventional carbon steel.
