SPA-H high-strength weathering steel coils are mainly used in the container industry because ordinary carbon steel corrodes easily in the air, causing significant economic losses.
SPA-H high-strength weathering steel coils feature stable mechanical properties, with typical yield strength of 345–485 MPa, tensile strength of 470–630 MPa, and elongation of 18–22%, with minimal variation, ensuring reliable performance over long-term use.
The SPA-H coils we produce exceed standard requirements in both strength and weathering resistance.
Their surface forms a 50–100 μm thick self-protective oxide layer, allowing a service life of 40–80 years in humid or marine environments.
